Adamów [aˈdamuf] is a village in Łuków County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Adamów. It lies approximately 21 kilometres (13 mi) south-west of Łuków and 60 km (37 mi) north of the regional capital Lublin.[1]
In 2005 the village had a population of 2,100. It is divided into two sołectwos: Adamów I and Adamów II.[2] Formerly, between 1539 and 1870, Adamów had the status of a town.
